Age Limit required for LIC AAO 2019 : (As on 1st March 2019)
Candidates who wants to apply for the LIC AAO Recruitment must have the age limit between 21-30 years. The Age Relaxation is only applicable for the candidates belongs to OBC and SC/ST category. refer Notification for More Information.
Education Qualification required for LIC AAO 2019 : (As on 1st March 2019)
Generalists: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
Selection Procedure of LIC AAO 2019:
The Candidates will be selected on the Basis of Online Examination which is conducted in two Phases. Tier-I (Preliminary Exam) and Tier-II ( Mains Examination). Candidates have to qualify the Prelims exam to get shortlisted for Mains examination.

Examination Pattern for LIC AAO 2019 : (Generalist)
The Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

**Note : English Language test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking. Candidates equal to 20 times of number of vacancies in each category, subject to availability, will be shortlisted for Main examination.
Negative Marking : Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. Each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
Mains Examination (PHASE – II) LIC AAO 2019 : (Generalist)
The Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 300 marks and Descriptive Test for 25 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.

**Note : A candidate shall be required to qualify in the descriptive test, but the marks in the descriptive test will not be counted towards short listing for interview or final selection.
Interview (PHASE - III) : Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase-II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at selected centres.
Maximum Interview marks are 60 and qualifying marks for EWS, Unreserved, OBC and PWD candidates are 30. Qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates are 27.
Final Selection : Final selection would be based on consolidated marks of main examination (objective test) & Interview. The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment.
Waiting List : There will be NO contingency/waiting list for candidates not declared successful in the main list.
Guarantee Bond : The Selected candidates have to sign a guarantee bond with LIC of Rs. 2 lakhs (Before joining as a Probationer, candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve LIC for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining)
Application Fee for LIC AAO 2019 Recruitment :
Candidates have to pay the Application Fee through Online Mode before the last date mention above. Applicants who belong to General/OBC category needs to pay Rs. 600 and those who belongs to SC/ST/PWD Category have to pay Rs. 100.
