The commission will recruit the talented candidates through Civil Services Examination for the Post of IAS, IPS, IRTS, IRAS, IRPS and RPF etc. which comes under Group A.

UPSC 2018 Selection Procedure :
The Selection procedure for U.P.S.C Civil services Exam consists of Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) which is followed by Mains Examination, Personality Test and Personal Interview. Prelims Examination consist of two compulsory papers based on General Studies. Total marks allotted for UPSC Prelims is 400 marks.
Those who qualify the Preliminary examination will be called for the Mains examination which consist of Subjective Questions.

UPSC Number of Attempts :
Candidates who belongs to General category can appear in the examination upto Six times. For OBC candidates the maximum number of attempts is permissible up-to Nine and their is no restriction for SC/ST/PH candidates.

UPSC Age Limit : [As on 1st August 2018]
The Candidates who wants to apply for the UPSC recruitment must have the age limit lies from 21 – 32 Years. It means the candidate must not older than 32 years and not younger than 21 years or he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1986 and not later than 1st August, 1997.
Education Qualification :
Candidate must possess Graduation Degree from University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or from any educational institution established under Act of Parliament or as Deemed University declared under UGC norms.
Application fee for UPSC Examination :
Candidates can apply the application form both through Online and Offline Mode. The amount of Rs. 100 is payable as an application fee. No fee is required for the Candidates belongs to the category under SC/ST/PH.
Online Mode : Those who wants to apply through Online mode can pay their fee from SBI (State Bank of India) Net Banking or by Visa/debit/Credit Card.
Offline Mode : Candidates who wants to submit their Application offline can pay their fee in Cash at any Branch of State bank of India.

Now Click On the PART-I Registration.
Fill the Application with all your personal details and choose your exam center.
Pay the Application fee through net banking/debit/visa/Credit card as per your choice.
Upload your passport size Photograph and Signature.
Sign the declaration form and Click on the Final Sumbit Button.
After that Click on the link that shows PART-II registration and enter your Registration number and Date of Birth.
Click on the Submit Button.
Take the Printout of Your Application form and E-receipt for future purpose.
