RBI Assistant Recruitment 2015 : Dear Aspirants, Today the Reserve bank of India has published the official notification for the post of RBI Assistants 2015. RBI invites the online application from the young graduates with required eligibility to apply for the same.
About RBI – Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the central bank of India headquartered in Mumbai who controls all the economic activities like monitory policies, issue of currency, coins and helps the financial institution like Public sector banks to provide adequate supply of liquidity and currency flow.
The Recruitment of RBI Assistant is the most awaited notification among the candidates who are preparing for bank exams and government jobs.
Important Date and Events :
The Online Registration of Application will starts from – 12th July 2015
Last date to apply online – 3rd July 2015
Online Examination will be held in 1st week of August.
Tentative dates of examination is given in the Notification – 1st, 8th, 9th and 16th August – 2015
Vacancy Details :
The RBI has published the post details for Assistants according to the vacancies available in different States of India and Language proficiency.
Total Post for which RBI is recruiting – 504 Post
Salary and Emoluments : The approximate salary of RBI Assistant is Rs.22,546 per month as per the RBI norms.
Eligibility Criteria for Appearing in the RBI assistant Recruitment : (As on 01/06/2015)
Age limit of the Candidates must be between 18-28 years that mean candidate should not be younger than 18 years and not older than 28 year.
The factor of Age Relaxation is also there for OBC and SC/ST candidates. Please refer the official Notification regarding age criteria.
Education – Applicants must have 50% Marks aggregate in Graduate Degree. This criteria is applicable only for General and OBC candidates. The education qualification will be as on July 3 , 2015
Knowledge of Computer – Candidates must posses the Intermediate Knowledge of Computer in Application software’s like Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
The score of IBPS CWE is not required in the recruitment process of RBI assistants.
The Applicants must have the knowledge in speaking and writing of the local language of the particular state from which he/she will be applied for.
Selection Procedure and Exam pattern :
The RBI assistant exam will consist of objective type questions which is divided into five sections. The exam will be conduct in online mode ( Computer Based). The Question paper is of 200 marks.

In above exam pattern, candidates have to qualify and secure minimum marks in each section so that he/she will be qualify for next stage of recruitment.
The cut off marks will be applied on two basis - Sectional and Overall. Negative marking of 0.25 marks is applied on each wrong answer.
Candidates who will be sufficiently high in merit list will be shortlisted for the Interview round.The Shortlisting of the candidates for the Interview is based upon the number of vacancies available in that particular state.

Take the Hard copy of your Application form and payment e-receipt as proof of registration.
Application fee : The Payment for filling up the application form will be done through online mode. The application fee for Candidates is given below :
General/OBC candidates have to pay - Rs. 450 [online transaction through net banking/debit card/credit card].
Sc/St candidates have to pay - Rs. 50.
