In this Article we are providing you the Detailed Analysis of IBPS Clerk VI Mains Exam 2016 . This year IBPS Clerk Mains Exam conducts in only one shift.

 

Clerk Mains Exam consisting of 5 sections having sectional time limit. The Pattern of exam given below.

Note : Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will Be considered for Final Merit Listing.


 

This year IBPS Clerk Mains Exam is of Moderate to Difficult level. Pattern is totally changed as compared to previous year and candidates faced difficulty to solve questions especially in Reasoning and English section because of sectional time limit and  also due to complex and lengthy questions.

 

Reasoning : Difficult

  • Coding decoding – 5 Questions ( Moderate)
  • Data Sufficiency – 5 Questions
  • Analytical reasoning – 5 Question
  • 4 Puzzle sets : 20 Questions  (Difficult)
    a) Circular Puzzle with Blood Relation ( 8 People )
    b) Linear Arrangement with Blood Relation ( 7 people )

Note : No Questions from Syllogism and Inequality asked.

 

Coding decoding Pattern : 

First letter is changed to next letter and last letter is changed to total number of letters.

for example : Their – Uhei5 ,  Daily – Eail5

 

English Language : Difficult

Reading Comprehension – 2 passage (20 Question) [Based on Economy]

Fillers – 5 Question

Sentence Correction – 10 Question

Rest Question related to Parajumble, Errors.

 

Quantitative Aptitude : Moderate

 

Number Series – 5 Question

Data Interpretation – 2 sets : 10 Questions [ Tabular DI and Line Graph ]

Quadratic Equation – 5 Questions

Data Sufficiency – 5 Question

Rest Miscellaneous –  20 Questions (Ages, Average, Ratio, Time and work, Profit and loss, Simple Interest, Time and distance etc.)

Note : No Simplification asked.

  2. 256, 176, 216, ?, 206, 201, 203.5
  3. 100, 51, 53, 109, ?
  4. 2, 4, 10, 32, ?, 654

 

Computer knowledge : [level – Easy]

In this section questions were related to computer networking,internet, input and output devices, Generation and history of computers etc..

 

General Awareness : [Easy- Moderate]

In General Awareness Section questions were mostly came from  banking, finance and Current Affairs of last 5-6 months.

 

Note : Cut off will be State wise in IBPS Clerk as per vacancies published by IBPS for CWE Clerk VI.

    I am an ex servicemen and attempted 121 question. But in reasoning paper only 14 attempted and sure for only 8 question. Is there any chance to beat the sectional cut off in reasoning

      Same here… I also have attempted only 121 questions and reasoning only 14. Very tensed…
      What will be the sectional cutoff? And also overall cutoff?
